God’s Amazing Creations

The sky is gray with clouds,
Speckled on the horizon,
Orange, yellow, blue, green.
Lights flash in the distance of a passing boat.
Shrimp? Maybe.
Palms sway ever so lightly.
Butterflies flit around,
As sand daubers are chased by the waves.
Seagulls soar and waves crash,
Their white tops pelting the beach.
Fisher men are already catching their fair,
As the Fisher of Men starts a new day.
Pelicans with their graceful flight
Look for a place to crash.
The noise is deafening,
As if the waves want to drown out
Any noise not made by God.
Birds, all you can hear, not cars.
The gray is almost gone from the sky.
Lots of blue with clouds on the horizon.
Another great day to walk with
The footprints in the sand.
